“FLATBUSH ZOMBIE ‘VACATION IN HELL’”

2018, May 10th

“Ye Bet Waga…….”

I’m done explaining this to so-called fans — and yes, that includes a few grown men who should know better: Rap is the music. Hip-Hop is the culture. And if you want a masterclass in both, look no further than Flatbush Zombies. Their latest album isn’t just a listen — it’s a statement. Heavy with rap and P-Funk DNA, pulsing with rock energy, it’s a sprawling, defiant sonic journey. This isn’t background noise — it’s rebellion. Disrespect. And a whole lot of unapologetic head-nodding. With heavyweight features like Joey Bada$$, Jadakiss, and B Bun, this album doesn’t beg for attention — it demandsit. Even with just two rock-leaning tracks, the whole project screams us vs. them — a rallying cry for the outliers, the true heads, and yes, even the rock kids. Visually and sonically, it leans more P-Funk than polished Hip-Hop — and that’s the point. This isn’t chart-chasing fluff. This is raw, real, and rooted in the we-don’t-give-a-fuck spirit. Buy it not because it’s trending, but because you actually know what the hell you’re listening to
